I grew up in Palo Alto, California.
My mom was a children's book author.

My dad worked in tech. I think he was a lot like I am, meaning he had like, 5 billion projects going on all the time.

There were these experiments that he was always doing and we weren’t supposed to talk about them...’cause i guess he was finding the secret to alchemy.

i read for Judd Apatow and Paul Feig. What they did on that show, “Freaks and Geeks”, is they just found a bunch of people that they liked and they wrote the characters around them.

...the show came on,
and then it got cancelled.

So I did “Pineapple Express” and I did “Milk,” and i also went back to school. All in one year, everything changed.

From age 18 until now, I’ve been in the movie industry, and so I’m just always around creative types. They’re my favorite.
